Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Jakiya Sultana is a bright, hardworking, and determined 14-year-old girl who dreams of continuing her education and building a better future for herself and her family. Her father, Md. Jainal Abedin, is a small-scale farmer and the sole provider for the family, struggling to support Jakiya, her mother Sume Begum, and her two younger brothers with a limited income, making the cost of surgery impossible to afford. For months, Jakiya endured repeated attacks of severe abdominal pain, fever, and vomiting due to recurrent appendicitis, often missing school and suffering in silence while her parents could only manage temporary relief from local pharmacies. The family learned about Helpster Charity through volunteer Md. Jamilur Reza, who gave them hope when they felt helpless and overwhelmed by her worsening condition. Without timely appendicectomy surgery, her appendix could rupture, leading to severe infection, peritonitis, sepsis, and other life-threatening complications that could permanently affect her health and future.
Medical history
On 15 June 2026, Jakiya Sultana’s father, Md. Jainal Abedin, learned about Helpster Charity’s free medical treatment program and immediately brought his daughter to Modern Hospital. After examination and necessary investigations, she was diagnosed with Recurrent Appendicitis, and the doctor advised Appendicectomy under General Anesthesia (GA). She was admitted and underwent the surgery successfully on the same day without complications. Following the operation, Jakiya recovered steadily under the close supervision of the doctors and nursing staff. On 17 June 2026, she was discharged in stable condition and returned home safely. Her family expressed heartfelt gratitude to Helpster Charity and sincere appreciation to the entire Modern Hospital medical team for their compassionate and dedicated care.
Prognosis
According to the treating doctors, Appendicectomy under General Anesthesia (GA) will permanently treat Jakiya Sultana’s recurrent appendicitis by removing the inflamed appendix, relieving her recurrent abdominal pain, and preventing future episodes of infection. With timely surgery, she is expected to make a full recovery and return to her normal daily activities. If left untreated, recurrent appendicitis may lead to rupture (perforation) of the appendix, intra-abdominal abscess formation, peritonitis, bowel obstruction, sepsis, and other potentially life-threatening complications.
