Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Sabina Akter is a 19-year-old woman who lives with her husband and his extended family and is known for being caring and closely connected with her family members. Her husband works as an NGO volunteer and receives only a daily honorarium, earning approximately USD 66 per month, and payment is not provided on days when he cannot work. With the entire household depending on this modest and irregular income, the family cannot afford the cost of Sabina’s medical treatment. Sabina developed frequent watery stools, weakness, and excessive thirst, followed by burning and increased frequency of urination, and was diagnosed with Enteric Fever with UTI. Without timely treatment, her condition may worsen through dehydration and progression of the infections, leading to serious complications. The family learned about Helpster Charity through the medical outreach at Kutubpalong.
Prognosis
Hospitalization, intravenous fluid therapy, and parenteral antibiotics are expected to restore hydration, control the infection, relieve her symptoms, and support a gradual recovery. With timely treatment and appropriate monitoring, she is expected to regain her strength and return to normal daily activities. If treatment is delayed or unavailable, acute watery diarrhea may cause severe dehydration and electrolyte imbalance, while the UTI may progress to a more serious infection.
