Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.

That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Irine is a 19-year-old humble, responsible, kind, and hardworking young woman. She enjoys helping her guardian with a small business and hopes to build a successful future. They live in a rural village and depend on the modest income earned from the business, which is often insufficient to meet their basic household and healthcare needs. Irine was brought to the hospital by her guardian after experiencing heavy vaginal bleeding, headache, dizziness, diarrhoea, and severe general body weakness for four days. The continued blood loss and gastrointestinal symptoms left her visibly exhausted, increasingly weak, and unable to carry out her usual activities. Her dizziness and worsening weakness raised concern about the severity of the blood loss and the risk of further deterioration without urgent medical care. Following clinical examination and laboratory investigations, Irine was diagnosed with metrorrhaghia, severe anaemia and gastroenteritis. Given the seriousness of her condition, she was admitted for urgent stabilization, treatment, close monitoring, and further investigation to determine the cause of the bleeding and guide her continued management.

Prognosis

Irine, 19 years old, is diagnosed with severe anaemia and gastroenteritis, requiring prompt medical treatment, including correction of anaemia, rehydration, treatment of the underlying cause, and close monitoring. With timely and appropriate treatment, the prognosis is generally good, and she is expected to recover. Delayed treatment may lead to serious complications.
