Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.

That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

LIFE CARE HOSPITAL & DIAGNOSTIC CENTERRoumari, KurigramHospital contacts
Background

Shabnur Akter is a 23-year-old housewife at 38 weeks of pregnancy who devotes herself to caring for her family despite their financial difficulties. She lives with her husband, their 7-year-old son Shuvo, and her elderly mother-in-law in a small tin-shaded house with a mud floor. Her husband is the sole earning member, working as an agricultural day laborer and earning approximately USD 57 per month, which is insufficient to cover the family’s food, education, healthcare, and other essential expenses. Shabnur was diagnosed with transverse fetal presentation, which can make vaginal delivery unsafe and may require timely cesarean delivery to reduce serious risks to both mother and baby. Without appropriate monitoring and timely delivery, complications such as obstructed labor or umbilical cord prolapse could threaten the life of the mother or baby. The family learned about Helpster Charity through a staff member of CSDK.

Prognosis

Lower Uterine Cesarean Section (LUCS) is expected to provide a safe and timely delivery by avoiding the complications associated with transverse fetal presentation. With appropriate preoperative assessment, surgical delivery, and postoperative monitoring, the mother and baby are expected to have a better chance of a safe outcome. If timely delivery is not provided, transverse presentation may result in obstructed labor, umbilical cord prolapse, fetal distress, or other serious complications that can endanger both mother and baby.
