Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
The one-year-old baby girl lives with her parents and elderly grandmother in fragile housing conditions, where the family struggles to meet their basic needs. Her father works as an auto-rickshaw driver, earning only approximately USD 49 per month, while her mother is a homemaker, making it extremely difficult for the family to afford essential medical treatment. She developed loose stools for three days, accompanied by vomiting, abdominal pain, and loss of appetite, followed by fever and an inability to drink. After being taken to New Evercare Hospital and Diagnostic, she was diagnosed with acute watery diarrhea with severe dehydration and required urgent medical care. Without timely treatment, she could develop severe electrolyte imbalances, kidney complications, circulatory shock, and potentially life-threatening consequences.
Prognosis
According to the treating doctors, hospitalization, fluid replacement, supportive therapy, and close monitoring are essential to manage acute watery diarrhea with severe dehydration. These interventions aim to restore fluid and electrolyte balance, prevent complications, and support the child's recovery. With timely and appropriate treatment, the child has a better chance of recovering and returning to normal feeding and daily activities. Without prompt treatment, severe dehydration may lead to electrolyte disturbances, kidney injury, circulatory shock, and potentially death.
