Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Sadia Sultana Ema is a cheerful and active 10-month-old girl who lives with her parents, two older sisters, and grandmother in a six-member family. Her father, Jamal Uddin, is the sole earner, working as a woodcutter and earning only about USD 41 per month, which is insufficient to meet the family’s basic needs and medical expenses, especially as her older sister Sumaiya Akther Soni (Helpster Case ID 8428) was also recently hospitalized for measles. Sadia developed fever, cough, cold, runny nose, and worsening respiratory distress and was admitted to Seba Hospital, where she was diagnosed with severe pneumonia and required urgent treatment. The family learned about Helpster Charity through a previous patient, Abrar, and is seeking support because they cannot afford Sadia’s hospital care. Without timely treatment, severe pneumonia may worsen rapidly, causing dangerously low oxygen levels, respiratory failure, severe infection, and potentially life-threatening complications.
Prognosis
According to the treating doctors, hospitalization, close monitoring, and conservative and supportive therapy are recommended to manage Sadia Sultana Ema’s severe pneumonia. With timely treatment and close monitoring, her respiratory distress, infection, and reduced oxygen saturation are expected to improve, supporting a safe recovery and return to normal activities. If left untreated, severe pneumonia may progress to worsening respiratory distress, dangerously low oxygen levels, respiratory failure, and other serious complications. Therefore, timely hospital-based treatment is essential for Sadia’s recovery and survival.
