Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Samuel is a bright and cheerful 8-year-old boy who enjoys Mathematics and dreams of becoming a pilot. Since birth, he has had a condition affecting the way he passes urine. His parents have made several attempts to find treatment, visiting different hospitals in Lagos and Ogun States. Samuel was born through a Caesarean section. After his birth, his mother noticed that something was different around his penis and scrotum. The family was advised to have him circumcised, as they were told this would correct the problem. However, after the circumcision, they discovered that Samuel’s urine was not coming from the usual opening but from another opening. His parents have since taken him to several general hospitals across Lagos and Ogun States to seek treatment. Upon presentation at our facility, it was confirmed to be first noticed at two years of age, this defect causes an abnormal urinary stream and persistent urine dribbling during urination. He was evaluated and diagnosed with Hypospadias. He requires surgical corrections upon Helpster's approval.
Prognosis
Ogundiran Samuel is an 8-year-old boy diagnosed with hypospadias, a congenital condition where the urethral opening is located on the ventral aspect (underside) of the phallus rather than at the tip. Without corrective surgical intervention, uncorrected hypospadias can lead to long-term psychological trauma, chronic urinary dysfunction, local skin breakdown/infections, and future reproductive complications, significantly impairing his overall quality of life. The long-term prognosis following timely surgical repair of hypospadias is excellent, with the vast majority of patients achieving normal urinary function and straight penile alignment and with improved urinary function and quality of life.
