Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Sonali Khatun is a 22-year-old housewife who cares for her family despite living in difficult circumstances and is now facing a complicated pregnancy requiring urgent medical care. Her husband, Shahin Ahmed, 23, is the sole earner and works as an agricultural day labourer, earning approximately USD 65 per month; the family of eight includes their siblings and elderly parents and grandparents, leaving his limited income insufficient to cover daily needs and Sonali’s treatment. The family previously lost their home and land to river erosion and now lives in a small tin-shade house on land provided by another person, further limiting their ability to manage unexpected medical expenses. They learned about Helpster Charity through a staff member of Life Care Hospital and sought support for Sonali’s treatment. Without timely treatment, the combination of post-dated pregnancy, severe oligohydramnios, leaking liquor, and fetal distress could worsen and place both mother and baby at serious risk, including severe fetal compromise and potentially life-threatening complications.
Prognosis
According to the doctor, Lower Uterine Caesarean Section (LUCS) with appropriate supportive treatment is expected to provide a safe and timely delivery for Sonali and her baby. With proper surgical care, close maternal and fetal monitoring, and management of her severe oligohydramnios and fetal distress, the risks associated with her post-dated pregnancy and leaking liquor can be reduced, and a favorable outcome is expected. If treatment is delayed, severe oligohydramnios, fetal distress, prolonged pregnancy, and leaking liquor may increase the risk of further fetal compromise and complications during delivery, potentially causing serious complications for both mother and baby.
