Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.

That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Usman is the second child in a family of five living in a rented one-room apartment, supported only by his mother's sewing and his father's barbing salon work. From the time he was born, he missed his vital R tests, and despite being given local herbs, his skin and eyes have turned deeply yellow and he is now too weak to feed. The family’s combined monthly income is just ₦55,000, which barely covers their most basic daily needs and leaves absolutely nothing for medical emergencies. Because their limited earnings cannot fund the specialized hospital care he urgently requires, covering the cost of his treatment has become an impossible financial burden. They are now turning to Helpster Donors for lifesaving financial support to give their baby boy a fighting chance at survival.

Prognosis

The prognosis is good when treatment is provided on time. Early treatment helps promote normal testicular development and function and reduces the risk of long-term complications. Treatment is especially important when the condition is identified during early childhood, as timely intervention can significantly improve the child’s future health and development.
