Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
The 11-year-old boy is a Class Five student who has lost both parents and now lives with his elderly grandfather, grandmother, and aunt. After being hit by a motorcycle while returning home from the playground on 24 September 2026, he sustained a left clavicle fracture that caused severe pain, swelling, and difficulty moving his left arm. His 62-year-old grandfather works as a day labourer, earning approximately USD 33 per month, which is insufficient to cover the family's basic needs and the boy's medical expenses; they live in a modest tin-roofed house with a mud floor and depend on community support. Having lost his mother the day after the accident, while she was seeking treatment for him, the boy now faces recovery without either parent. Without appropriate treatment and follow-up, the fracture may heal improperly, potentially resulting in persistent pain, restricted shoulder movement, and long-term functional difficulties.
Prognosis
According to the treating doctors, hospitalization with appropriate pain management, arm support, conservative treatment, and close monitoring is recommended to manage the left-sided clavicle fracture. With proper treatment and follow-up, the fracture is expected to heal, and pain and swelling should gradually decrease as shoulder and arm movement improves. If left untreated or improperly managed, the fracture may heal incorrectly, causing persistent pain, restricted shoulder movement, and long-term functional difficulties. Timely treatment and follow-up are important to support proper healing and restore normal arm function.
