Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
The 7-month-old baby boy lives with his mother, older brother, and grandparents in a modest tin-roofed house with a mud floor, where the family struggles to meet their basic needs. His father is not currently taking responsibility for the children due to family issues, leaving his 56-year-old grandfather, a day laborer earning approximately USD 33 per month, as the family's main source of support. The baby was admitted to Seba Hospital on 5 October 2026 with severe pneumonia and acute watery diarrhea after experiencing prolonged fever, cough, frequent loose stools, and significant breathing difficulties. With such limited income and no reliable financial support from his father, the family cannot afford the hospital expenses and learned about Helpster Charity through a previous patient who had received assistance. Without timely treatment and close medical monitoring, the baby's condition could deteriorate, leading to severe dehydration, respiratory failure, and potentially life-threatening complications.
Prognosis
According to the treating doctors, hospitalization with antibiotic therapy, nebulization, hydration, other supportive treatment, and close monitoring is essential to manage severe pneumonia and acute watery diarrhea. With timely and appropriate treatment, the child is expected to experience improved breathing, reduced infection severity, and restoration of fluid balance, supporting recovery. Without treatment, pneumonia may progress to respiratory failure, while persistent diarrhea can cause severe dehydration, electrolyte imbalance, and organ dysfunction. These complications may become life-threatening, making prompt treatment and careful monitoring crucial for the child's recovery.
