Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Micah is a 5 y.o. boy. He is in kindergarden but has not gone to school this term due to lack of school fees. When he grows up, he would like to be a doctor. His mother is a widow, she sells roasted peanuts at the roadside to try and make ends meet but this is not sufficient. On a good day, she makes a profit of only Kshs 70/-. She lives in the house her husband left for her, which is in the ancestral land. They live in one big compound with her father in law and his late husband’s brothers and their families. Micah’s mother will be happy if she can be assisted to get treatment for her child. Admission date - 26. May 2023.

Medical history

Child was nebulized in the hospital to clear the clogged airways and was later put on antibiotics. Child progressed well on treatment and has been discharged

Outcome

The patient was presented with cough and difficulty in breathing, high temperature, unable to eat well because of the cough and the difficulty in breathing. If left untreated, can lead to lung damage, and death due to respiratory complications.
