Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

The mother is a hair dresser, the father is an okada rider. According to the mother, her daily income is 2000 naira but it may increase to 5000 naira during festive period. The swelling was noticed one year ago and the associated pain is becoming frequent. Admission date - 19. May 2023.

Medical history

Kazeem had a surgery on the 20th of July 2023 for fixing the right inguinal hernia. The surgery went well, the response of the patient to the treatment was satisfactory.

Outcome

If left untreated, inguinal hernias can lead to complications such as bowel obstruction, strangulation (where blood supply to the herniated tissue is cut off), and significant pain or discomfort. Surgery is the most common treatment for inguinal hernias to repair the weakened area and prevent these potential complications.
