The immediate thing was to control her convulsions and prevent any further convulsions and this was done. She was later examined well, taken to the laboratory for investigations and treated as an inpatient for severe malaria. She was discharged home to proceed with oral medication and a review confirmed that she was doing well

She will progress well because the illness was diagnosed before it caused further complications.
