Fortune depends on her paternal grandmother who has one dairy cow that she milks and sells milk to get some money. Her parents do not have any stable source of income and are always moving from one town to the next, whenever they get some information that there may be a job in the nearby towns. Fortune, currently in grade 2, would like to be a teacher when she grows up, but would also like to practice farming. She has had diarrhea and vomiting, also had a high grade fever for the past 4 days. 2 days ago she also begun complaining of headache, easy fatigability, poor appetite with persistent vomiting, unable to retain any meals that she eats.

She has not been going to school since the time she had abdominal pain that 3 days ago and she was just relying on pain reliever drugs from a near by chemists and when situation became worse came to the facility complaining of: headache, dizziness, poor appetite, unable to retain solid feeds and vomiting after feeding. She was suffering from gastroenteritis and malaria which was confirmed after physical examination and laboratory tests. The treatment was given out as per doctors prescription, she was treated well and discharged when she had healed.

the condition was treated and if it couldn't have noticed earlier ant treated it could have resulted to seizures, coma, organ failure, anemia, cerebral malaria, Blood in vomit or stool, Swollen abdomen and increasingly severe abdominal pain, Dehydration due to loss of water.
