Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Asfa is a 20-year-old girl who lives with her parents, her sister and her grandmother in a tin shedded house. Asfa loves singing and visiting new places with her friends. Asfa is a was very ambitious and dreamy girl. She would like to continue her education and become a teacher. Asfa's Father is the only breadwinner in the family. He is a labour worker, but the money is still far from being enough epsecially to cover medical costs. Asfa had pain on her left little finger nail. The finger was swollen. Asfa had to stop her daily activities. Sometimes pus comes out from the nail. Several times Asfa tried antibiotics treatment from a local pharmacy and government hospital but her condition didn't improve. Asfa is suffering from Infected Paronychia and needs a surgery.

Medical history

Asfa had been battling a relentless infected nail infection, enduring pain, swelling, and redness that only escalated with time. After several attempts at conservative treatment that yielded little relief, it became clear that she needed nail surgery to finally put an end to her suffering. With a mix of anxiety and hope, Asfa was admitted to Narayanganj Polyclinic, where skilled hands prepared to perform the nail avulsion surgery under local anesthesia, ensuring every aseptic precaution was taken. As she lay on the operating table, her heart raced, but she found solace in the professionalism surrounding her. Once the procedure was complete, Asfa was overwhelmed with gratitude, exclaiming, "Thank you, Helpster Heroes and Narayanganj Polyclinic! You've given me my life back!" Now, after her recovery, she beams with joy, returning to her normal life with a bright smile that reflects her newfound freedom from pain. Asfa’s journey from suffering to relief serves as a powerful reminder of hope and healing.

Outcome

The infection can spread beyond the nail fold to involve deeper tissues of the finger or even spread to the whole hand or arm. Chronic infection can cause permanent nail deformities or loss of the nail. Asfa needs a surgical drainage of her abscess, and a course of antibiotics.
