Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Safin is a cheerful 19-month-old boy from Narayanganj who lives with his parents in a modest tin-shed house. His father, Shohidul, is a 27-year-old garment worker and the sole breadwinner, while his mother, Shahinur, is just 19 and takes care of their home. They dream of a bright future for Safin, hoping he will become a businessman. Recently, Safin's health declines as he develops a persistent cough and cold, leading to a diagnosis of severe pneumonia. His parents receive advice to take him to a tertiary hospital for better care, but their financial struggles make this impossible. In their desperation, Shohidul and Shahinur turn to Helpster Donors for assistance. "We are deeply worried for our son and want to provide him with the care he needs," they plead. They hope that with the help of generous donors, Safin can receive the urgent treatment necessary for his recovery.

Medical history

Safin, a 19-month-old baby, was suffering from severe pneumonia, displaying symptoms like persistent coughing, difficulty breathing, and a high fever. Despite several courses of antibiotics from local pharmacies, his condition worsened, leading to emergency hospitalization. Upon admission, Farhan received oxygen therapy and nebulization with sulbutamol, ipratropium bromide, and budesonide. He was also given injectable antibiotics and hydrocortisone due to the severity of his illness. Thankfully, his health improved significantly, and he is now back home, bringing joy to his parents. Overwhelmed with gratitude, they said, "We were terrified for our little boy. Without Helpster Heroes, we wouldn’t have been able to afford his treatment. Thank you for giving our son a second chance at life!" Their smiles reflect the immense relief and happiness they feel now that Farhan is healthy again.

Outcome
