Background

Abubakar is a 5 years old boy who, like many children, enjoys watching cartoons. He was presented to U.M.D Medical Clinic with the complaints of progressive abdominal swelling, vomiting and colicky abdominal pain which started about 1 week ago.

Medical history

A case of Acute Abdomen secondary to Typhoid perforation was admitted for surgery on 06th July, 2023. Surgery conducted successfully, patient had his post operation treatment and was discharged home on 18th July, 2023. Remark from Abubakar Mohd Mother: An unalloyed tribute to Helpster charity organization through UMD Medical Clinic for the humanitarian assistance rendered to my beloved son and by extension our family at this material time.Initially,I was helpless and in serious distress but the presence of Helpster Charity has brought hope,smile and succour to our family because my son has been operated successfully and discharged home in good health. Outcome

An urgent surgery is required, otherwise the symptoms will persist and worsen, with a risk of a progressively developing inflammation.
