Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Brilliant is an infant, the youngest child in a struggling household led by a single parent. The father abandoned the family, leaving the mother to care for the children with minimal resources. They often go to bed hungry, and the mother constantly fears any of the children falling ill, as she cannot afford the cost of medical treatment. Brilliant's mother says that Brilliant developed a runny nose, diarrhea, and a high fever. The situation quickly escalated when the baby began experiencing sudden convulsions following a spike in temperature. Alarmed and panicked, she rushed the child to the hospital for urgent care.

Medical history

The child was brought to the hospital with complaints of diarrhea, fever and convulsions. The child was examined and due to the severity of her case, she was promptly admitted for further management. In the ward she was put on broad spectrum antibiotics for the septicemia. She stayed in the ward for almost a week. She responded positively to treatment and she was discharged on orals to take at home.A visit by the volunteer confirmed that Brilliant Eliza was doing okay .

Outcome

Septicemia is a critical and urgent condition that must be recognized and treated early as it is one of the leading causes of intensive care unit (ICU) admissions worldwide. In this case, prognosis is good since the situation was arrested early
