Background
Success is a smart and calm young boy of 13-years old, just finished primary 6 due to poor living condition which makes him to be skipping school and most likely fees not paid and health challenges, but he desired to be an engineer. The child was diagnosed to have sickle cell anemia due to the ignorance of the parents not been properly checked before they started having children together. This leads to the child having sickle cell anemia even not been properly treated. On presentation, the child was evaluated and diagnosed with Sickle cell anemia and complications.
Prognosis
Sickle cell anemia is a chronic condition that requires ongoing management, but with proper care and treatment, individuals with sickle cell anemia can live fulfilling and healthy lives,sickle cell anemia are more susceptible to infections due to a reduced spleen function and a weakened immune system ,Sickle cells can block blood vessels, causing pain and inflammation, particularly in the bones, chest, and abdomen.wen this child have not been properly treeted and in a poor living conditions he can have crisis
