Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Sri is a 17-year-old boy living with his mother in a tin shed house, and he is the only breadwinner in the family, earning about 7,000 Taka per month from his job in a garment factory. Recently, he experienced severe lower abdominal pain and vomiting that did not improve with medication. He was diagnosed with acute appendicitis at a hospital, but due to limited funds and long waiting times, he could not get immediate surgery. His condition worsened, and now he needs urgent appendectomy surgery to prevent a burst appendix and serious complications. His family cannot afford the treatment costs and is seeking help from Helpster Charity donors to save his life.
Medical history
Sri was diagnosed with Burst appendix due to acute appendicitis, presenting with severe abdominal pain and vomiting, which necessitated an emergency appendectomy. The surgery was complicated by significant adhesions between the abdominal structures, but the skilled team at Narayanganj Polyclinic successfully removed the inflamed appendix and peritoneal toileting. Following the operation, Ananta made a smooth recovery and is now back to his normal life, much to the relief of his family. His parents expressed their gratitude, saying, "The weight of the world has been lifted off our shoulders; we can finally return to our normal lives." They extended a heartfelt thank you to the Helpster Heroes and the Narayanganj Polyclinic Team for their exceptional care and support during this challenging time.
Outcome
Sri’s condition became critical due to the delay in treating the acute appendicitis. If left untreated, a ruptured appendix can lead to life-threatening complications such as peritonitis and abscess formation, both of which require urgent medical intervention to prevent further harm.
