Ashley is a 7-month-old baby who lives with her single mother in an urban slum. She is the youngest of three children. Ashley is a cheerful baby who enjoys playing with toys and is often seen smiling. She had been in good health until two weeks ago when her mother noticed a rash developing on her face. Ashley was taken to the Helpster Charity medical camp held on April 12, 2025, at Kamkunji Grounds in Kibera. After assessment, Vincent, a Helpster volunteer, referred her to Barika Medical Centre for further treatment.

On the 12th/April/2025 we at Barika Medical Centre had a camp in Kamkunji in Kibera slums, where Vincent from Helpster Charity was present on the said date. That's when Ashley Tamara was seen by the doctor and the doctor gave out a diagnosis of atopic dermatitis. On the 15th/April/2025 Ashley was brought to the hospital (Barika Medical Centre) and the doctor treated her giving her medication as she responded well to the treatment and was discharged the same day. She is doing well and back to her playful self.

Ashley upon arrival to barika medical centre had dry itchy inflammed skin around/on the cheeks, long standing on and off since 3 months old if not timely treated it may become chronic or it may develop other complications such as mental health issues and sleeping difficulties.
