Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Yasin is a 5-year-old boy who lives with his mother, brother, and grandmother in a temporary home. Their family struggles to make ends meet, with a total income of around 7000 taka per month from Yasin’s uncles, one of whom works as a cook earning about 16,000 taka but lives separately. Last year, Yasin had surgery for cataract in his left eye, which helped him move better and return to school, but now he can only see clearly with one eye. His vision has worsened, and he cannot write, read, or run properly anymore. He urgently needs surgery on his right eye to prevent further vision loss, but his family cannot find any sponsor this time. They are desperate for Helpster Donors’ support so Yasin can get the treatment he needs to see clearly again.

Medical history

Yeasin Hossain, a 5-year-old boy, needed urgent treatment due to a cataract in his left eye, which was affecting his vision and overall development. Cataract surgery with intraocular lens implantation was performed under general anesthesia by Dr. Md. Rashedur Rahman Talukder, Senior Consultant of the Hospital. The procedure was carried out successfully and without complications. Following the surgery, Yeasin’s visual acuity has improved significantly, and he can now see clearly with his left eye. Heartfelt thanks to Helpster Charity and the Helpster Heroes for their generous support in restoring Yeasin’s vision. Thank You Note from Maternal Uncle: Yeasin Hossain’s maternal uncle, Mobarak Hossain, extended his sincere gratitude to Helpster for their invaluable assistance. He expressed joy and relief that his nephew can now see again and enjoy a normal childhood. “This support changed our lives,” he said. “Thank you, Helpster, for helping our children receive the care they desperately needed.”

Outcome

Yasin suffers from blurry vision in his right eye, and headaches. Yasin needs cataract surgery to implant interocular lens. If not treated, Yasin can acquire blindness.
