Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Polete is a bright and determined Grade 2 student who dreams of becoming a doctor one day. She lives with her single mother, who earns a living by selling vegetables, and is the second-born among five children. Due to financial hardship, the family struggles to afford consistent medical care and follow-up appointments. Polete has sickle cell disease and has previously been diagnosed with anemia on multiple occasions—over three times. However, limited finances mean she rarely completes her prescribed treatment, often managing only a week’s supply, then going without medication for extended periods. Over the past week, she has been experiencing increased dizziness and extreme tiredness, with noticeable easy fatigability.

Medical history

Polete is living with sickle cell disease and has been diagnosed with anemia several times—more than three in total. Unfortunately, due to financial constraints, she is often unable to complete her full course of medication, usually managing just about a week's supply before going without treatment for long periods. Over the past week, her condition worsened, and she began experiencing more dizziness, severe tiredness, and got easily fatigued. When she was brought to the facility, she received proper medical care and was discharged once her condition had stabilized. During a follow-up call, her mother expressed gratitude for the support and treatment her daughter received.

Outcome

Polete came to the facility sick looking and was treated given medication and if the condition could have remained untreated Polete could have been in a serious crisis. The prognosis is good
