Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Mitchel comes from a deeply vulnerable family that lives as squatters, with no land or place to truly call home. She shares a cramped, makeshift shelter with her parents and four siblings. Their reality is one of extreme poverty—so dire that getting even a single meal every two days feels like a blessing. While most families around them struggle daily, Mitchel’s family exists in quiet desperation, surviving through the kindness of strangers and the strength of each other. One tragic day, Mitchel was on her way to the market, being carried on a bicycle—an ordinary act in her daily life—when a transit goods trailer lost control and rammed into them. In a split second, everything changed. The impact was horrific. Mitchel was thrown to the ground, sustaining devastating injuries that mangled her lower left leg beyond repair. Kind strangers rushed her to the hospital, where doctors worked urgently to save her life. Upon examination, it was confirmed that her left tibia and fibula were completely crushed. Her left leg, from the knee down, was shattered. There was no option left—an above-the-knee amputation had to be done. The right leg had a degloving injury. Mitchel, a young girl with dreams and laughter in her spirit, now faces life with a missing limb, the memory of the accident etched into her soul. Her family, already burdened with overwhelming hardship, now bears the emotional and financial weight of her recovery and rehabilitation. Yet through it all, Mitchel remains brave—a silent beacon of resilience in a world that has given her so little.
