Sharline N., 13

Sharline is a 13-year-old girl living with her family in a rural area. She is raised by both parents, with her mother being the primary provider. Her mother is a hawker at the local market and doesn't earn much, which makes it difficult for the family to meet even basic healthcare needs. Sharline was diagnosed with severely low hemoglobin levels and was prescribed medication, but due to financial constraints, the family could only afford a two-week supply provided by the hospital as a goodwill gesture. Since then, her condition has worsened—she now frequently suffers from dizziness, headaches, and fatigue. Without ongoing medical support, her health is at risk of further complications.

Sharlene, who has sickle cell disease, was diagnosed with malaria and received treatment until she was stable and cheerful again. She was then discharged to continue recovery at home. Her grandmother expressed gratitude to Helpster Charity Organization for providing free medical care. Sharlene has since recovered and returned to school. She takes her medication regularly, and her teacher has noticed that she is more lively in class and generally happier.

He was treated and given drugs needed and if this could have not done on time it could have resulted to organ damage, pain, and increased risk of infection.
