Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Frank is a 1-year-old boy from a low-income family living in a rural area. His father, a driver earning about KSh 3,000 per month, is the sole breadwinner. Frank has missed routine clinic follow-ups due to lack of fare and no money for drugs or consultation. Despite the family's financial hardships, Frank is always a cheerful. He is a known sickle cell patient and was recently brought to the health facility by his mother, presenting with severe pain and difficulty in breathing, along with a persistent cough. After a thorough medical evaluation, he was diagnosed and promptly started on treatment.
Medical history
Frank, a sickle cell patient, was diagnosed with pneumonia and received treatment until his condition stabilized. He was later discharged to continue his recovery at home. His mother shared her heartfelt appreciation to Helpster Charity Organization for offering free medical support.
Outcome
Frank was treated and given drugs as needed and if this intervention could have not been done on time it could have resulted to organ damage, pain, and increased risk of infection.
