Leah is a 6-year-old girl living with her family in a rural area. She is being raised by both parents, with her mother serving as the family's sole provider. Her mother earns a modest income of about KSh 2,500 per month by hawking in the local market. Due to financial difficulties, the family struggles to access even basic healthcare. Leah was diagnosed with severely low hemoglobin levels and was prescribed medication. Unfortunately, her family couldn’t afford to buy the full dose, and she only received a week's supply through support from the hospital. Since then, her health has deteriorated—she often suffers from headaches and fatigue. Without continued medical assistance, her condition may worsen and lead to further complications.

Leah was diagnosed with severely low hemoglobin levels and was prescribed appropriate medication. She was discharged once her condition stabilized. During her follow-up visit, her mother expressed gratitude to Helpster Charity Organization for making it possible for her daughter to receive free medical care.

Prognosis is good. Leah was treated and given drugs as needed and if this intervention could have not been done on time it could have resulted to organ damage, pain, and increased risk of infection.
