Laiba, a bright 15-year-old from Narayanganj, dreams of becoming a doctor, but acute viral hepatitis is threatening her health and future. Her family, living in poverty and relying on her brother's meager 7000 taka monthly income, cannot afford the necessary private hospital care after the government hospital was full. Without treatment, Laiba's condition could worsen, leading to severe liver damage and jeopardizing her education and dreams. Helpster Charity and Narayanganj Polyclinic are her only hope for receiving the life-saving treatment she desperately needs.

Laiba, a 15-year-old girl, was suffering from acute Viral Hepatitis. She required emergency hospitalization due to severe vomiting, abdominal pain, anorexia, fever, and yellowish discoloration of her sclera, mucous membranes, and skin. Laiba was admitted on 30/05/25, received treatment, and was discharged from the hospital on 03/06/25. She was treated conservatively, and thankfully, she is now doing well and back home with a bright smile. Her family is incredibly happy to have her safe and sound!
