Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Mohammad Hasan is a one-month-old preterm baby boy, born at just 34 weeks and weighing only 1800 grams, now bravely fighting Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) in both eyes. He urgently needs Anti-VEGF injections to prevent permanent blindness and restore his developing vision. His father, a construction laborer, and mother, a full-time caregiver, struggle to support their six-member family in a rural village and cannot afford the high cost of treatment. Despite his fragile start in life, Hasan is a fighter with a bright spirit and a chance at a full, healthy future. Without timely intervention, he faces irreversible vision loss—something no child should have to endure.
Medical history
Mohammad Hasan, a 1-month-old baby, urgently needed treatment for Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) in both eyes to prevent permanent vision loss. He received Anti-VEGF injections from Dr. Md Saiful Islam, ROP Specialist of the Hospital. The treatment was carried out successfully, bringing the abnormal blood vessel growth under control and improving the retinal condition. With close monitoring, there is strong hope that Hasan will be able to see clearly as he grows. Sincere thanks to Helpster Charity and the Helpster Heroes for their generous support in restoring his vision.
Outcome
Mohammad Hasan has been diagnosed with Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) in both eyes—a serious but treatable condition if addressed urgently. The good news is that with timely intravitreal injections, there is a high chance of saving his vision and preventing lifelong blindness. However, any delay could cause irreversible damage to his developing eyes. The doctors strongly advise immediate intervention within the next few days to protect his sight. With proper treatment now, Hasan has a real chance to grow up seeing his parents’ faces, the beauty of his village, and the bright future that lies ahead.
