Maryam is an 6 year old cheerful child who likes playing with her friends and also have to dream to become a teacher in the future. A girl with very poor family background living in bintu suga of Maiduguri. About 8 months ago she started experiencing right loin pain, Lower back pain and dysuria. She was presented to different health facilities and was diagnosed with right kidney stone, and she was planned for surgery, but her parent doesn't have enough money to pay for the bills. However, upon hearing about Helpster when the volunteer visited their slum, they brought the child to our health facility so that she can benefit from the free surgery. On presentation at our facility, she was evaluated and diagnosed with Kidney Stones and in need of surgery.

A 6 year old girl who was presented to this facility with the complaints of Oliguria,dysuria,lower abdominal pain and restlessness due to bladder outlet obstruction.Radiological examination findings indicates bladder stone.SHe was catheterized and planned for elective surgery on.Had a successful Cystolithotomy and was discharged on 25/7/2025. Patient is now stable and feeling well.

Larger stones might require more extensive treatment like using sound waves to break up the stone (lithotripsy), surgery to remove very large stones, or using a scope passed through the bladder to remove smaller stones.
