A 6year old boy from poor family. Who is joyful and likes riding a bicycle and playing with his friends. He dreams to become an entrepreneur in the future. About 3-years after birth, he developed umbilical bulge lingering for more than 3 years that failed to reduce. There is usually a localized pain around the umbilicus with preceding history of vomiting. He was examined and diagnosed with obstructed Umbilical Hernia and was planned for repair upon approval by Helpster charity.

Usman is an 6-year-old boy that was evaluated and diagnosed with Umbilical Hernia. On Helpster's approval, he was admitted and surgical correction done successfully. After recovery, he was discharged home, no longer having swelling or pains. He was very happy as he can resume his usual life and was grateful to Helpster Charity.

In severe cases, the protruding tissue can become trapped or strangulated, which is a medical emergency. Strangulation occurs when the blood supply to the herniated tissue is compromised, leading to severe pain, nausea, vomiting, and possible tissue damage or necrosis. Prompt surgical repair is typically recommended for umbilical hernias to prevent these complications and ensure the safety and well-being of the affected individual.
