Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Mrs. Farzana Akter, a 23-year-old housewife, is currently pregnant for the third time, now at over 40 weeks. Although her previous pregnancies were normal and she delivered her two children vaginally, this time the baby has grown too large, weighing about 3.84 kg, causing a cephalo-pelvic disproportion. Without an immediate cesarean section, both Farzana and her baby face serious risks, including life-threatening complications during delivery. Her family, which includes her husband Mamun, a rickshaw puller, their 7-year-old daughter Maria, and 2-year-old son Maruf, struggles to make ends meet with a monthly income of only 7,000 taka. They are desperate for help and have learned about Helpster, a hospital that can assist them with the medical costs needed to ensure the safety of both mother and child.

Medical history

After experiencing labor pain for over 40 weeks, she arrived at our hospital where doctors performed an ultrasound that revealed the baby was large, with a correspondingly large head, making vaginal delivery impossible. An emergency cesarean section was promptly arranged, and the procedure was successful, resulting in the birth of a beautiful baby girl. Both the mother and the baby are safe and sound, with no complications arising from the surgery. The patient's family expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Helpster Heroes and the hospital for their timely and effective care.

Outcome

The doctor diagnosed this case as a post-dated pregnancy with a large baby, cephalo-pelvic disproportion, and moderate oligohydramnios, accompanied by labor pain. In this situation, the doctor suggests that immediate cesarean section is the only treatment option. If the operation is delayed, it may result in the death of both the mother and the baby.
