Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

A 6 years old Umar lives in at the outskirt of Maiduguri. He is from a poor family living in abject poverty, and yet is a joyful boy liking to play with his peers. He was brought to the hospital with the complains about the right inguinal scrotal swelling lingering for the period of over 5 months. Umar was admitted for surgery on 05th August, 2023. Surgery conducted successfully, patient had his post operation treatment and was discharged home on 08th August, 2023.

Outcome

If left untreated, congenital hernias can lead to complications such as bowel obstruction, strangulation (where blood supply to the herniated tissue is cut off), and damage to the affected organs. Surgery is often required to repair congenital hernias to prevent these potentially serious complications. This would make the child happy, remove the pain and discomfort associated with the swelling.
