Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Jubayer Khan is a lively and cheerful 3-year-old boy whose playful spirit lights up his small village in Chandpur. After a recent injury to his left eye, Jubayer developed a traumatic cataract that is now threatening his vision. His father, Billal Hossain, works as a daily wage carpenter earning about BDT 10,000 a month, supporting a family of six, which leaves little room for extra expenses like medical treatment. Despite the family’s struggles, Jubayer remains full of hope and energy, dreaming of going to school and playing football with his friends again. Without urgent surgery, Jubayer risks losing his vision permanently, which would take away not only his sight but also the joy and opportunities of his childhood. The family urgently needs support to give Jubayer a chance at a healthy and bright future.
Medical history
Jubayer Khan, a 3-year-old child, required cataract surgery in his left eye due to a dense cataract that was significantly affecting his vision and overall development. The surgery was carefully performed under general anesthesia by Dr. Md. Anwar Hossain Sk, Chief Consultant of the Hospital, ensuring the highest level of safety and precision. Throughout the procedure and postoperative care, Jubayer responded well, showing steady improvement in comfort and visual clarity. Regular follow-up visits confirmed that the healing process was progressing smoothly without complications. His visual acuity has improved greatly, allowing him to see more clearly and interact more confidently with his surroundings. This successful outcome has brought renewed hope and joy to his family. Thanks to Helpster Charity and Helpster Heroes, Jubayer received the essential treatment needed to restore his sight. Their support played a vital role in helping him regain vision in his operated eye.
Outcome
According to the ophthalmologist, Jubayer requires immediate cataract surgery under general anesthesia to remove the damaged lens and replace it with an intraocular lens. The doctor emphasized that with timely treatment, Jubayer can regain his vision almost fully, enabling him to live a normal, healthy life. However, if the surgery is delayed or not performed, the condition will worsen, potentially leading to irreversible blindness in the affected eye. The doctor's prognosis is hopeful—if the surgery is done soon, Jubayer can enjoy his childhood, attend school like his sisters, and dream again. Therefore, we urgently appeal to Helpster Charity to consider supporting Jubayer’s treatment and help give this little boy a chance to see the world again.
