Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Najmin Begum, a devoted housewife and mother, lives with her husband Samad Miah, a 60-year-old day laborer, and their two young sons, Najmul and Abdullah. Their meager monthly income of just 8,000 barely covers daily needs, leaving no savings for emergency medical care. Now, Najmin faces an urgent, life-threatening situation: at 40 weeks pregnant with complications, doctors insist on an immediate C-section. Without this surgery, both Najmin and her unborn child risk severe harm or even death. Despite her quiet strength and determination, the family’s poverty traps them in a desperate struggle between hope and tragedy.

Medical history

Najmin Begum was admitted to the hospital on June 16, 2025, with a diagnosis of a third pregnancy with severe oligohydramnios. On the same day, she had a successful cesarean section and gave birth to a healthy baby girl. Both mother and newborn were discharged on June 19, 2025, in good health. Her husband came to the hospital to receive her and their child. The family expressed their gratitude to Helpster, Jamuna Clinic, Abdullah, and Amulla for their treatment and support. Her husband was especially thankful for the financial assistance provided by Helpster.

Outcome

Najmin Begum is a gravida 3 at 40 weeks of post-term pregnancy presenting with indications for urgent cesarean section due to fetal distress and risk of uteroplacental insufficiency. Immediate surgical intervention is critical to prevent adverse maternal and neonatal outcomes, including hypoxia, fetal demise, or maternal complications such as obstructed labor or uterine rupture.
