Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Bokoli Subcounty Hospital

Bokoli Sub-County Hospital, Sikata - Kimilili Rd, Bokoli

Background

Christine is an 18-year-old student who lives with her widowed mother and six siblings. Her father passed away 12 years ago, and since then, the family has relied solely on their mother, a small-scale farmer, for support—mostly depending on produce from their farm. They live in a modest two-room house with corrugated iron sheets that leak during rain. Christine is currently in Form Four and aspires to become a nurse after completing her education. She also enjoys playing legball at school. Christine began experiencing body tremors while at school yesterday. She also mentioned frequent bloating and occasional sharp abdominal pain. The tremors initially were mild but worsened significantly by today, to the point where she could no longer stand or walk without support. She also complained of general body aches, chills, and abdominal discomfort associated with the tremors. She was admitted to the hospital for treatment, but her family could not afford the costs. It was at this point that Helpster Charity stepped in to ensure she received the necessary medical care.

Medical history

Christine was diagnosed with severe tremors alongside peptic ulcer disease (PUD), conditions that required close medical attention. She was admitted for four days, during which she received the necessary treatment and supportive care until her symptoms gradually improved and she became stable. Once the medical team confirmed that she had responded well to treatment, Christine was discharged and able to return to school to continue with her studies. She was joyful on the day of her discharge and expressed heartfelt gratitude to Helpster Heroes for making it possible for her to receive free, quality medical care during a difficult time.
