Her family is headed by her mother, Reba Khatun, a day laborer whose meager earnings of just 7,000 Taka per month make it impossible to afford the life-changing adenotonsillectomy required for Santika's chronic recurrent adenotonsillitis. Without this vital surgery, Santika faces severe recurrent infections and ongoing health issues that will jeopardize her growth and education. Their dire poverty and lack of resources mean this urgent medical care, essential for her future, remains tragically out of reach.

Santika Khatun was admitted to RUDO Hospital for an Adenotonsillectomy procedure. After completing all necessary clinical evaluations and diagnostic tests, the skilled ENT surgical team of RUDO Hospital successfully performed the operation. Following the surgery, Santika remained under close postoperative observation in the hospital for three days. During this time, her recovery progressed smoothly, and she responded well to the treatment. Santika’s mother expressed immense happiness and relief seeing her daughter return to good health.
