Usman is a 2-year-old child with history of poor family background. he is extroverted and playful. his parents have dream of Usman become a nurse in the future. He was brought to our health facility with the complains of Umblical bulge lingering for more than 1 year. Sometimes there is pain due to occasional obstruction, but the pain subsides after taking painkiller. On presentation at our hospital, he was evaluated and diagnosed with Umbilical hernia.

Usman, a 2-year-old male, presented with 1 year history of umbilical bulge accompanied by occasional pain due to obstruction.After thorough evaluation and investigation, he was diagnosed with umbilical hernia. He underwent successful hernial repair surgery without immediate complications. Due to the nature of his condition, he was admitted for 3 days for close monitoring and post-operative care.Usman recovered well and was discharged home after 3 days, with a follow-up appointment scheduled for 1 week. Currently, he is doing well, has fully recovered, and cheerful. We appreciate the timely intervention by Helpster and the UMD Medical team.
