Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

YOBE STATE SPECIALIST HOSPITAL DAMATURU

Damaturu, Yobe State, 6 Gujba Road, Nigeria

Background

Fatima is a gentle mother who likes taking care of children and being with the family. She is passionate about traditional activities, and she wants to be a role model on that perspective. Fatima presented with a history of burning epigastric pain that is radiating to the back associated with vomiting and occasional abdominal distension. On presentation at the hospital, she was evaluated and diagnosed with Severe Peptic Ulcer Disease.

Medical history

Fatima was admitted in our facility where she was managed as a case of severe peptic ulcer disease. She had her complete dosages of IV medications and later placed on oral medications. As the treatment progressed, she responded well evidenced by resolving of the presenting symptoms. She was later discharged home to continue her normal life. She was very grateful to helpster for helping her get the treatment for free.

Outcome

Peptic Ulcer is curable with medications in its early phase. When advanced, it can cause perforation of the stomach/intestinal wall which will require surgical intervention and can be life threatening.
