Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Zara is an active and social woman, always smiling to people. Likes taking care of her child and the family. Zara had surgery recently, she now presented with purulent discharge from the surgical site. There is also associated fever and loss of appetite. On presentation at our hospital, she was evaluated and diagnosed with Surgical Site Infection and Anemia.

Medical history

Zarah was admitted in our facility where she was managed as a case of surgical site infection complicated by anaemia. She had blood transfusion done successfully, had adequate wound care and IV antibiotics. As the treatment progressed, she responded very well to the treatment as symptoms subsiding with wound healing. She was later discharged home on oral medications to complete her recovery and return to her normal life. She was very happy to have received help from helpster.

Outcome

Surgical site infection is treatable with the administration of appropriate antibiotics and with adequate wound care. When abandoned, the wound may never heal and can predispose patient to other infections.
