Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Milon Bala, a 22-year-old mother in her 33rd week of pregnancy, has a complicated obstetric history and was advised by doctors to undergo a C-section due to past uterine complications. Her husband, Sujon Ray, works as a day labourer at a furniture shop, earning only 8,000 taka a month—barely enough to support their five-member family living in a modest two-room tin-shed house. Milon is a quiet, caring woman devoted to her family, especially her young daughter. Unfortunately, they cannot afford the surgery, and without it, she faces a high risk of uterine rupture or other life-threatening complications during delivery. The family is desperate, knowing that without timely treatment, both mother and unborn child could be in grave danger.

Medical history

The patient, Milon Bala 2nd gravida at with a previous cesarean history, was admitted to City Clinic on 24th July 2025. A successful cesarean section was performed the same day, and she delivered a healthy baby. Both mother and child progressed well and were discharged on 29th July 2025 with proper postnatal advice. The patient and her family expressed heartfelt gratitude to Helpster, the dedicated volunteers, and City Clinic for their kind support and care throughout the treatment.

Outcome

Milon Bala is a high-risk pregnant woman at 33+ weeks gestation with a history of uterine complications during her first delivery, necessitating a planned cesarean section to prevent life-threatening outcomes. Without the C-section, she is at significant risk of uterine rupture, severe hemorrhage, and fetal distress, which could lead to critical maternal and neonatal morbidity or mortality. Immediate surgical intervention is essential to ensure the safety of both mother and child.
