Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background

Rumi Akter Ratna, a 21-year-old housewife, is 33 weeks pregnant with her baby in breech presentation, which requires careful management to prevent complications. Her family, including her husband Milon Miah, a day laborer earning only 7,000 Taka per month, and her elderly grandmother Ambia Begum, who is unable to work, struggles to afford the cost of a necessary cesarean section. Despite her hope for a safe delivery, their limited income makes it impossible to pay for the treatment. If she does not receive proper medical care promptly, there is a high risk of birth trauma, cord prolapse, or stillbirth, which could tragically endanger both her and her baby's lives. The family feels helpless but desperately needs help to ensure a safe delivery.

Medical history

Rumi Akter Ratna was admitted to the hospital on August 07, 2025, with a diagnosis of Breech Presentation. On the same day, she had a successful cesarean section and gave birth to a healthy baby. Both mother and newborn were discharged on August10, 2025, in good health. Her husband came to the hospital to receive her and their child. The family expressed their gratitude to Helpster, Jamuna Clinic, Bablu Abdullah, and Amulla for their treatment and support. Her husband was especially thankful for the financial assistance provided by Helpster.

Outcome

Rumi Akter Ratna, at 33 weeks of gestation, presents with breech presentation, a condition where the fetus is positioned with its pelvis or feet facing downward instead of the optimal head-first position. Given the risks associated with vaginal breech delivery, including birth trauma, cord prolapse, fetal asphyxia, and stillbirth, a cesarean section is strongly recommended to ensure fetal and maternal safety. Failure to perform the indicated surgical intervention could result in life-threatening complications for both mother and baby.
