Why is treatment done earlier than admission?
Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Background
Akhi is a young pregnant woman living in a small tin-shed house with her family, and she is experiencing severe abdominal pain and decreased fetal movement. Her family includes her husband Fahim, who earns only 7,000 Taka a month as a salesman, her parents Khokon Molla and Fahima Begum, and her two-year-old daughter Tasfia. Due to their extreme poverty, they are unable to afford the urgent treatment she needs. She is at risk of serious complications like uterine rupture, infection, or even death if she does not receive immediate medical care. Without prompt treatment, her condition could worsen rapidly, endangering both her life and her baby's.
Medical history
The patient had 38 plus weeks of pregnancy with labor pain and per vaginal discharge. Patient had also less foetal distress. Patient got admitted in Narayanganj Poly Clinic. Due to non progressive labour pain and foetal distress cesarean section was done under spinal anesthesia. Akhi was admitted on 23/06/25, received treatment, and was discharged from the hospital on 26/06/25. A healthy male baby was born with 3.6 kg birth weight. Emergency resuscitation for the baby was given. Akhi and her baby are doing well now.
Outcome
If Akhi Akter, a 22-year-old woman at 38+ weeks of pregnancy with labor pain and fetal distress, had not received emergency treatment, both her and her baby could have faced serious risks. The lack of timely cesarean section could have led to fetal death or severe complications for the mother, such as postpartum hemorrhage or infection. Prompt medical intervention was crucial to ensure the safety and health of both mother and baby.
