Rahima Begum, a 32-year-old pregnant woman at 28 weeks with twin babies, has a history of two previous cesarean sections and now faces complications that require urgent medical attention. Her family, with a monthly income of only 8,000 Taka from her husband Riaz’s work as a mason, struggles to afford the necessary treatment. Her husband and in-laws are unable to provide financial support, and their small tin house with limited facilities reflects their difficult living conditions. If Rahima does not receive prompt medical care, she and her twins are at risk of life-threatening complications such as preterm labor, fetal distress, or maternal health deterioration, which could endanger both mother and babies. The family is desperately hoping for assistance to ensure Rahima’s safe delivery and health.

After experiencing lower abdominal pain for over 36 weeks, she arrived at our hospital where doctors performed an ultrasound that revealed twin pregnancy , making vaginal delivery impossible. An emergency cesarean section was promptly arranged, and the procedure was successful, resulting in the birth of a beautiful baby girl but unfortunately the male baby was dead and it becomes putrefacted. Both the mother and the baby are safe and sound, with no complications arising from the surgery. The patient's family expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Helpster Heroes and the hospital for their timely and effective care.
