Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Bokoli Subcounty Hospital

Bokoli Sub-County Hospital, Sikata - Kimilili Rd, Bokoli

Background

Selpher is 5 years old, and she likes to join her friends in singing games while in school. She was brought to the facility having been unwell for the past 5 days with cough, running nose and nasal congestion. The patient was treated and discharged on August 18th.

Medical history

Selpher had pneumonia for around a week, but her family couldn't afford to take her to the hospital. As her condition worsened, they eventually sought help at the facility with the assistance of Helpster Charity organization. Selpher received excellent care during her one-day hospital stay, which greatly contributed to her recovery.

Outcome

Pneumonia should be treated with antibiotics. If left untreated, pneumonia may lead to the permanent lung damage, respiratory failure, septicaemia (infection entering blood stream and causing sepsis), pleural effusion (accumulation of fluid in the space between the lung and chest wall, which can make breathing difficult), and other life-threatening complications.
