Without immediate intervention for this life-threatening condition, Mosammad and her unborn child face dire consequences, jeopardizing the very future she dreams of for her struggling family and turning their fervent wish for a healthy baby into a tragic reality. After experiencing labor pain at 38 weeks of a viable single pregnancy, Mosammad Halima arrived at our hospital. An ultrasound revealed severe oligohydramnios and fetal distress, which made a vaginal delivery impossible. An emergency Cesarean section was promptly arranged and successfully performed, resulting in the birth of a beautiful baby girl. Both mother and baby are safe and sound, with no complications from the surgery.
