Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.
That's why the chronology can sometimes be in disorder.

Mother Clinic & Nursing Home, Kurigram

Hospital Road, Bhurungamari, Kurigram, Bangladesh

Background

Tushi Khatun, a 20-year-old housewife living with her family in a small, impoverished home, is 39 weeks pregnant with her second child. Her family includes her husband Bayzid Mia, a 24-year-old day laborer and farmer earning only 7,000 Taka a month, her father-in-law Javed Ali, who is 60 and currently unemployed, and her mother-in-law Laily Begum, a housewife. Tushi has been diagnosed with oligohydramnios, a condition where the amniotic fluid is dangerously low, which requires an urgent C-section to protect both her and the baby. Due to their limited income, they cannot afford the high costs of treatment. If she does not receive the necessary surgery, there is a significant risk of fetal distress, birth complications, or stillbirth, which would be devastating for their family. Kulsum, a nurse at Mother Clinic, has provided this information to highlight the urgency of her situation.

Medical history

Tushi Khatun was admitted to the hospital on June 26, 2025, with a diagnosis of Oligohydramnois. On the same day, she had a successful cesarean section and gave birth to a healthy baby. Both mother and newborn were discharged on July 03, 2025, in good health. Her husband came to the hospital to receive her and their child. The family expressed their gratitude to Helpster, Mother Clinic and, Bablu Abdullah for their treatment and support. Her husband was especially thankful for the financial assistance provided by Helpster.

Outcome

Doctor has advised a cesarean section for Tushi Khatun due to oligohydramnios, as the low amniotic fluid poses a significant risk of fetal distress and complications during delivery. If not performed promptly, both mother and baby are at risk of severe outcomes such as birth asphyxia, injury, or stillbirth. Timely surgical intervention is essential to ensure their safety.
