Why is treatment done earlier than admission?

Sometimes, when a case is urgent and vital, hospitals may proceed with delivering medical care right away to save a life, even before the finalization of admission procedures. Usually, when this happens, hospitals put the bill on our credit until the funds are transferred to their accounts.

Background

The child, the third born in her family, lives with her grandmother in the village. She attends school regularly and enjoys helping her grandmother take care of their goats after school. On weekends, she assists in selling ripe bananas at the nearby market. She dreams of becoming a teacher when she grows up. Recently, the child developed a cough and fever accompanied by chest pain, which did not improve despite using over-the-counter painkillers. Her grandmother also tried treating her with herbal remedies, but her condition worsened. Eventually, the child became too weak to attend school, prompting her grandmother to seek medical help at the hospital.

Medical history

Lucy Okuoma was diagnosed with severe pneumonia and bronchospasm. Lucy was treated with IV antibiotics and steroids .she now feel better and back to her normal activities. She goes to school and on weekends she helps her grandmother sell ripe bananas at the nearby market. Her grandmother is happy and says thank you helpster charity for assisting my daughter.

Outcome

The prognosis is good when treatment is given early enough.This treatment will be life saving when instituted on time , but when the treatment is delayed the child can die due to complications of pneumonia
