Amatu is 9 years old, she is living with her parents, the 4th among 5 siblings. She is currently attending a government primary school. Her parents are working very hard to provide for Amatu and her siblings. One day, Amatu that was used to waking up early was not able to wake up that very day, however the mother became very worried, her temperature was rising so high. The mother heard about Helpster Charity from the neighborhood that is why they came over to Albishir Clinic for proper evaluation. On presentation at our clinic was diagnosed with Lower Respiratory Tract Infection and Enteric Fever causing significant illness.

Amatu was diagnosed with lower respiratory tract infection and enteric fever. Due to lack of finaces she was supported by Helpster Charity at Albishir Clinic with some antibiotics and other supportive care. After some hours she had her systems responding positively to the medications administered. After days of observation, she was discharged as recovery is now 100 percent.

With timely treatment, both lower respiratory tract infections and enteric fever have a good prognosis and full recovery is likely. Delayed or untreated cases can lead to serious complications like pneumonia, respiratory failure, or intestinal perforation. Recovery depends on the patient's age, immune status, and how early treatment begins. There's good chances of recovery in the case of Amatu.
